ARCHITECT / SENIOR DESIGN DRAFTSPERSON

Shelford Quality Homes are a dynamic and independent Building Company located in Rockingham, building exclusively south of the river. We are looking for an experienced and creative person to join our excellent drafting team.

Do you have creative abilities with at least 3 years experience in a senior drafting role or similar
Architectural Degree or Diploma
A comprehensive knowledge of all aspects of residential design, single and two storey homes and multi unit developments
Working knowledge of Residential Design Codes and Building Code of Australia
Experience in Estimating is desirable
Proficient in use of AutoCAD and Excel
Some commercial experience
Ability to work alongside and guide a team of draftpersons

JUNIOR DRAFTSPERSON

Shelford Quality Homes are quality Home Builders based in Rockingham, we specialize in quality single and two storey residential housing.

Our management and supervision teams have extensive experience that covers all types of construction

Qualities will include:

Must have or be studying towards a Diploma in Building Design & Technology
Proficienct in the use of Auto CAD

Duties include:

Laying out sketch designs on computer
Modifying standard plans
Good knowledge of residential construction
Energy Efficiency calculations
Housing Indemnity Insurance Applications
Water Corp Applications
Building Licence Applications
Council Liaison
Sending out sketch plans for sub-contractor quotes
Answering queries
